Grassland Flowers 1: Thalictrum petaloideum L.

These white flowers bloomed everywhere on the grassland. Their "petals" actually are specialized androeciums. The roots can be used in medicine to clear away heat and toxic material. Photos were taken here.

Family: Ranunculaceae Genus: Thalictrum Linn. Species: Thalictrum petaloideum L.

  3. Hi Joan. In fact almost every kind of plant can be used as medicine, even though some maybe poisonous. But the effect of one species is limited or different with others. So we Chinese put them all together in the water to make a complementation and boil them to drink the soup. That's the famous Chinese medicine.
